Discs are divided in 2 main categories: light plastics and durable ones. The second ones are a bit more heavy but do last much much longer then the light plastic ones.
They are not only (almost) puncture resistant, but their rims will suffer a lot less damage (bite marks, cracks) so they will fly for longer time!
